Cordyceps zombie

Cordyceps Zombies are the main monsters of The Last of Us. They are people infected by a mutated Cordyceps fungus, the infection is in four stages, Runners, Stalkers, Clickers and Bloaters. By the end the zombies have huge mushrooms growing out of them ! Each stage making the infected person stronger and stronger , though the zombie can die at any stage by the cordyceps fungus.
